Today, more than ever before, it is possible to go to school while working full time without becoming frazzled, frayed and feverish.
Let’s say you work until 4:00 in the afternoon, come home, have a bit of dinner, and then are free to go to school. Whether that school is around the corner, a bus ride away or online, it’s not an impossible task. It is possible to do several hours a night at least 2 nights a week. Some schools offer courses with Saturday sessions, and that makes it even easier to accomplish this dual challenge.
In the San Francisco Bay area, the City College of San Francisco ranks high with students in attendance there. Not only is it low in cost, some students say:
“Awesome place to go to school. I would say that it would be best for any high school grad to take two years here if you do not know what you want to do as a career or area to study.
“Great Preparation. Most of my college credentials (transfer requirements and g.e.) are from this college. Not only do they have a great range of online classes, they also have top notch professors who will prepare you for four year degree programs.”
Many schools in the Bay area offer undergraduate courses in education, business, and psychology among others. Because classes are also offered in the evenings and on weekends, they can easily accommodate busy students with either part-time or full-time jobs. And for those who are interested, some available programs include a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts.
That’s the good news. The even better news is that in a few years you will have your degree, and you will have paid for your education yourself. You will have already successfully accomplished several goals, and can only look forward to more achievements as you enter the business world.More info here: Community College: A Viable Option
